TrustIn at Startup Mahakumbh and Velocity – Kotak BizLabs: Discovering Growth, Learning and Community

March 2025 has been a landmark month for TrustIn, as we embarked on a new journey of support and learning to refine and strengthen our approach to scaling our work and impact. We are extremely happy to share that we have been selected as a part of the Velocity – Kotak BizLabs incubation program offered by NSRCEL, in collaboration with Kotak Mahindra Bank.

From the get-go, it has been an energetic journey, bringing us two crucial opportunities that stand out. With support from NSRCEL, we were given a GeM Pod at the Startup Mahakumbh, India’s largest startup showcase, allowing us to share our work with hundreds of startup founders, industry leaders, academicians, funders and more.

Our team also had the opportunity to attend a two-day intensive bootcamp under Velocity–Kotak BizLabs in Bangalore, with other early-stage founders building across fintech, compliance, governance, and tech for good — a space full of energy, learning, passion and community.

Along with the opportunity to get back to a classroom setting, these two milestones gave us much-needed space to pause, unlearn and re-align — especially on business fundamentals that tend to take a backseat in our day-to-day deep execution mode.

We’re super grateful to be a part of the Velocity – Kotak BizLabs incubation program and all the support that has come with it. Below are some key learnings we’ve taken away so far:

  • Being awarded a GeM Pod and preparing to register on GeM and Womaniya have reminded us about the power of institutional pathways in expanding market access. Taking our work on POSH implementation and DEI to companies on these channels is an important step towards achieving our vision for workplace safety.

  • Being (re)introduced to frameworks such as OKRs and goal setting, revenue models and strategic market positioning, among others, has been instrumental in helping us realign our sales strategy to a more targeted approach.

  • Speaking to hundreds of startup founders at the Mahakumbh has given us perspective on the market opportunity for our solutions, and the value we bring using an intersectional approach to enabling safety.

  • Learning alongside other startup founders at different stages of company growth in a classroom setting has been both energising and humbling — giving us a sense of the potential we all have to grow and thrive as innovators/disruptors.

  • Last but not the least, hitting pause on the day to day execution and taking time to zoom out and reflect, has definitely renewed our sense of purpose and clarity.
